Applied Sciences & Humanities Department Applied Sciences & Humanities Department aims to equip the engineering students with modern concepts of Physics, Chemistry, mathematics, Communication Skills in English and Business Management as applied in different engineering disciplines. The Department Offers curricula consisting the basic principles so as to provide indispensable reinforcement to future Engineers. The Department imparts extensive laboratory training to the students in Physics, Chemistry and Communication Skills and their applications in engineering disciplines. In I and II semesters, the students of all B. Tech. branches are given compulsory courses.
A number of courses are also offered as Non Departmental Electives in the III & IV semesters.
The Department Successfully runs two clubs, respectively for Extra & Co-Curricular activities. Our students have participated at various State, National and University level Competitions naming a few, SRM University, MMU (Mullana), LIMAT (Faridabad), HCTM (Kaithal), TIET (Patiala), NIT (Kurukshetra), JMIT (Radaur), UIET (Kurukshetra), Himalayan Instituet (Kalaamb), etc. and have won outstanding achievements with 45 Ist positions, 26 IInd Positions, 27 IIIrd positions Our students have also participated in Zonal Youth Festival. Our Choreography team was commended and Haryanvi group dance was Recommended.
