"Centre for Advanced Technologies" was set up by the Institute. The centre is the manifestation of goal-oriented achievements conceptualized on the basis of innate ingenuity. The labour put in it is directional and hence the achievements are multiple. The aim is to strive for placements which exhibit quality and success through innovative research simplifying the complex design into user-friendly concepts. The CAT is engaged in Research ,Design and Development in the field of Electronics Design Automation :   Soft Computing, Micro-controller based system design, Fuzzy Logic based system design.
PROJECTS IN PROGRESS :

  • Software Development : Design of an Electronics Design Automation (EDA) Tool.
  • Development of Hardware Description Language (HDL) for Ana log Circuit Design.
  • Design and Development of Automated Fuzzy System Design Software.

PROJECTS COMPLETED :

  • Evolutionary computing based "Prediction and Optimization System". The project was funded by U.K. based industry.
  • "Intelligent Instrumentation System" for security applications ( part I, II & III). The project is funded by Indian industry.
  • Library Automation Software: Running successfully in four colleges.

RESEARCH PUBLICATIONS :
Members of the teaching faculty have published more than 50 research papers in National/International Journals/Conferences in last 5 years.

WORKSHOPS ORGANIZED  :
CAT has organized 3 workshops for the benefit of researchers and teachers of Engineering Colleges.
CONFERENCES ORGANIZED :
CAT has organized two National Conferences and one Asian Conference.
